About
Water Damage Restoration Shaped by Gulf Coast Homes
Around-the-clock water extraction, structural drying to the IICRC S500 standard and claim documentation for homes and businesses along St. Joseph Sound.
How the work is done here
Most local houses sit on a concrete slab, and nearly two in three were built in 1979 or earlier. Water that gets under tile or behind baseboards on a slab has nowhere to drain, so the restoration team maps moisture before any equipment goes down and dries the slab, the wall bottoms and the cabinets as one system.
Humid Gulf air slows evaporation for much of the year, which is why the drying team leans on LGR dehumidifiers and closes the room up instead of opening windows. After a storm surge or a sewage backup, the category of the water decides what can be dried and what has to be removed.
Every job leaves a paper trail: the moisture map, daily psychrometric readings, timestamped photos taken before demolition and the category and class of the loss. That file is what an adjuster reads.
